DESCRIPTION:The Courtenay Gem & Mineral Club invites current members only to join us for a joint field trip with Ripple Rock Gem & Mineral Club to the Hill 60 Rhodonite claim. This outing provides a rare opportunity to explore a private claim with permission from the owner and search for rhodonite and other minerals. \nField Trip Details \nDates: Saturday\, May 30\, 2026Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PMLocation: To be shared via email with current members \nWhat to Expect: \nParticipants will explore the Hill 60 claim for rhodonite and other minerals. Off-road camping is available free of charge from Friday evening through Sunday\, but note that there are no facilities on-site. A 4×4 is recommended for the logging road access\, and carpooling is encouraged.
