Courtenay Gem & Mineral Show 2026
The Courtenay Gem & Mineral Club is proud to host the Comox Valley’s only Gem & Mineral Show! This is our largest public event of the year and a favourite for rockhounds, collectors, families, and visitors from across the region.
Show Details:
Dates: April 3, 4, and 5, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily
Location: Comox Valley Curling Club, 4835 Headquarters Road, Courtenay, BC
Admission: $4 per person; kids under 10 free with an adult
What to Expect:
Explore a world of rocks, minerals, fossils, and lapidary treasures from local and regional vendors, and enjoy displays and demonstrations by our club members. Participate in hands-on workshops, discover new specimens, and take part in family-friendly activities. Whether you are a collector, hobbyist, or just curious, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Vendors:
Our show offers vendors excellent exposure to an enthusiastic audience over three full days. Vendors selling rocks, minerals, fossils, and lapidary materials are welcome. Participating vendors are promoted in the lead-up to the event.
Volunteer Opportunities:
The show depends on volunteers! Roles include setup and tear-down, vendor support, kids’ activities, and general show operations. Shifts are flexible (4–8 hours), and volunteers receive a show pass, snacks, and our thanks for helping make this community event a success.
